Glengoyne 2008 PX Single Cask Limited Release
An online limited release of just 261 bottle, this 2008 special release has all the hallmarks of full maturation in a Pedro Ximenez Hogshead. Deep amber in colour, spice and oak revealing layers of rich dark chocolate nuttiness with a very long finish of stewed apples and cinnamon. A rewarding dram.
Specially selected by the Glengoyne Distillery team as our Cask of the Moment, Cask 973 was bottled as a 13 Year Old in 2021. The cask remained in the warehouse and continued to mature until August of this year, so it has now been bottled at Glengoyne itself with a label signed by hand by one of our distillery team. This limited-edition bottling truly is a stunning example of Glengoyne’s unhurried approach to whisky-making.
